The aim of the Double Digestion Fingerprinting tool (DDF tool) is to simulate all molecular biology techniques based on the use of two endonucleases for restriction of DNA. More information about this tool here.

Up to date, two basic techniques based on double digestion have been described: AFLP-PCR and SRF. Both techniques may be simulated by using this tool. Additionally, other theoretical approaches may be tried.

Specific tools for AFLP-PCR and SRF simulation are available.
